1) Do you have before and after school care?
   
Yes.  Before school care is available as early as 7:30.  The after school program runs until 6:00 p.m.  There is a $4.50 per hour fee per child.


2) Where is the school located?
   
The school is located at 7480 Derry Rd  (between the hospital and the Milton Sports Centre). We are leasing classroom and gymnasium space in the Southside Community Church until we build our own facility.

3) What grades do you offer?
   
MCS currently offers classes for students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 8. We also have a small PreKindergarten program for 3 year olds.

4) What is your student to teacher ratio?
   
MCS strives to maintain a low student to teacher ratio which enables us to provide a high quality of instruction.  We currently have 70 students and 8 staff.

5) Do MCS students wear uniforms?
   
Yes, uniforms are mandatory for students. Our uniforms are supplied by R.J. McCarthy’s in Oakville. You can visit their website and see our uniforms by going to www.rjmccarthy.com or click on the link at the left of this page.

6) What are the school hours?
   
School begins at 8:30 each day and ends at 3:15. Students can be brought to school between 8:15 and 8:30. They must be picked up between 3:15 and 3:30. We have a full-time, five day Senior Kindergarten program. Junior Kindergarten students have classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

7) How old do children have to be to start Junior Kindergarten?
   
Children must be four years old on or before December 31 in order to start Junior Kindergarten this September.

8) Do you have buses?

No, parents are responsible for providing transportation for their children to and from school.

9) Are you associated with a particular church or denomination?
   
No. Milton Christian School is an independent, non-denominational Christian school with students from a variety of churches enrolled.
